The installation
Interlinked smoke alarms
Hardwired, interlinked alarm points were installed throughout the property as part of the HMO conversion. Several photographs were taken during installation and show blue protective covers on the detector heads.
Emergency route lighting and signs
Emergency lighting and illuminated exit direction signs were fitted along the circulation and exit routes. The job photographs show lit signs near the stairs, on the landing and above an external door.
Installation records
The team issued certificates for the emergency lighting and hardwired interlinked smoke alarm installations. These records relate to the work described here; HMO licensing and the wider property's requirements are assessed separately.
